HP has a new Enterprise Learning Management System (ELMS), which
manages access to a wealth of HP training opportunities. The system
is customized to your individual job profile and provides you with
access to your Account, Enrollments, Transcripts, Tests, Skills,
and Learning Plan. By participating in training accessed and delivered
via ELMS, you can be assured that your personal training record
will be updated to reflect your personal development.

The following are the steps you will need to follow in order to
access a course or training event and then enroll using ELMS.
- Access learn @hp (http://learn.hp.com),
and login with your E-mail address and NT Account Password.
- At the learn@hp homepage, you may enter a catalog item number
found on our course descriptions (ie 1599) in the Registration
area specific to hp employees OR you may enter the title of the
course (Implementing HSx80 Storae on UNIX Platforms). Select Go.
- ELMS will return the results in a display which provides you
with the course title, code, delivery schedule, and description.
- Select the course title and when the full course information
appears, select view event / enroll. Note: view events
/ enroll will only be available if there are classes for this
course. If there are not classes for the courese, please select
I am interested to be placed on a waitlist.
- Locate a class that suites your time schedule by clicking on
daily schedule found for each event. Click on enroll
to register for the event (or class). This action places this
course in your My Enrollment. Here you will see the start
time, location, and actions you will need to take.
- Upon successful enrollment, the ELMS system will send an e-mail
confirming the class title, date and time, access URL, participant
key, and call-in number, and browser testing information (if this
is a eLearning course).
Additional search information for ELMS
If you are unsure of the catalog item number or the
course title you can now try the Advanced Search from the
left navigation bar. This new search area allow you to search text
within the catalog title and description to find the course that
meets your needs. You can narrow your search results by querying
for Instructor-Led and/or e-Learning, by Language, by date, etc.
Once you have your results, you can select to view only those courses
that have events scheduled.
