Course overview
This course is the offereing of 33764 Integrity Multi-OS Installation and Deployment & 33765 HP Integrity Entry-Level System Technologies course in a 1 week session.
33764 - Integrity Multi-OS Installation and Deployment IT environments are characterized by the coexistence of
many different platforms (hardware, middleware, and operating systems) and numerous applications (commercial
off-the-shelf and custom) that run on these platforms. Multi-OS refers to this heterogeneous landscape, which
is a reality for most HP customers. This landscape will continue to exist into the foreseeable future.
The operating systems in current use are evolving and growing according to the industry analyst community.
These operating systems on Integrity servers provide value for large enterprises, especially those requiring
up to 100% application availability or security. HP management tools simplify the complexity of working within
this heterogeneous landscape. HP System Insight Manager (HP SIM) for systems level management and HP OpenView
for enterprise and service-level management provide the common integrated toolset to manage operating systems
and application environments.
33765 - HP Integrity Entry-Level System Technologies -- This course will provide information on the HP
Integrity entry-level zx1 and zx2 based servers. This information will add to your existing knowledge base
to build a foundation that supports a fundamental understanding of the technology and the customer's
requirements. This training will provide you with a process to gather information, analyze requirements, and
plan and design an entry-level HP Integrity solution for a customer's existing environment. A 12-hour
instructor-led training (ILT) course, it combines elements of design and analysis with practical labs based
on customer case studies to prepare you for proposing entry-level Integrity solutions for HP customers.
The course presents various tools that will be used in labs to help build a viable HP solution for the customer. These tools include:
Product Bulletin
VM Sizer
HP StorageWorks Sizer
