Course overview

This course teaches you the skills needed for planning, installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Windows Server 2003 on HP ProLiant clusters. Learning concepts are reinforced through a series of lab assignments.

HP ASE or equivalent knowledge

Course objective

  • Explain clustering concepts
  • Describe ProLiant cluster solutions
  • Explain Microsoft clustering solutions
  • Plan the deployment of Internet services, file-and-print services, and databases in a Windows Server 2003 cluster environment
  • Discuss Windows Server 2003 Cluster service resource types and dependencies
  • Discuss cluster backup options and procedures

Cancellation policy

Registration may be canceled without tuition charge if Hewlett-Packard Training Registration receives notification of cancellation eleven business days prior to class. Cancellations made ten to three business days prior to class will incur a $150 cancellation charge ($210 in Canada, plus applicable taxes). Cancellations made two business days prior or less to class date and/or no-shows will incur the full tuition charge.

All course offerings are dependent on classroom, equipment and instructor availability. Hewlett-Packard reserves the right to cancel or change a class at any time without liability to the attendee for costs incurred due to such cancellations or changes, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodations.
